Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Zephan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Sumnes was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
