Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Balimaar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His first spouse was a Brewer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Koeth was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Soapmaker. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Joan's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
