History: Theirastra hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting illithids, the young Theirastra began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Ermina was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Darrow lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When Darrow reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away.
