History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Torz was born with his mother's beautiful face. His childhood dream was to be a Map Maker, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Scribe.

History: She was born in the west. A freak accident while working with her Interpreter mother left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his youth he was a Marshal, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. After a long history of fighting, Nuraval and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to reunite with her absent mother

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
