History: Srorthen hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Pogranix was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Elysande grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Elysande was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now mingles about in high society.
