History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Gifted from a young age, Serpent studied abroad. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aline grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aline. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She hates goblins. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Sarai was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: She wants revenge against goblins; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Fargas hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Fargas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
