History: She was raised in a desert tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Farideh took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scythe and armor she uses now. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Caeldrim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting giants, the young Shava began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
