Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. She carries with her a set of falchions on her belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. She has styled her brown hair well, parting it to the right. Her eyes are likewise hazel. Her teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quilla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

He keeps his long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Malquis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Malquis. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tabaxis.
History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion
