History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Hunter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Hunter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Hunter for the past few years.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. She worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ombul was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a Hunter, his father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Berrian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Berrian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
