History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She became a Carter soon after.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by her family; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Kaladan speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Gifted from a young age, Gynnie studied abroad. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She became a Healer soon after.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Healer born in the past three hundred years. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born in the east. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
