History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Carter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and to settle down with his crush

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Salanop grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mason who has hired her part-time. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nora does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spice Merchant. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and money/treasure

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Carpenter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Bûbol was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bûbol's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Fonkin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

His first spouse was a Herbalist, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
