Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A freak accident while working with her Painter mother left her crippled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She got into the Baker business at a young age. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing her hectic life and new baker responsibilities is difficult

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he's looking for his big break

He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fragrant grew up listening to her father's many stories. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Server work with an outfit from a few towns over. Server work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and retire the richest man in the east

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has a crush on the local barrister

He is dressed in earthy colors with a red and blue handkerchief worn on his left side. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is mildly Halfling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a adventurer and was forced into it by his family
