History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Sindri has worked very hard to control his curse. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Nelkin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nelkin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. History: Cloud was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
