Description: A middle-aged man, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and is pretty ugly. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His eyes are amber.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Aerdeth was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bookbinder. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He struck the Bookbinder job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by his family; and to be a interpreter again

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor. He wears his silver hair up. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He worked as a nervous Courier and found it very stressful. He tends to his Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. His red eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Baradad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. After a long history of fighting, Baradad and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Leaf grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Leaf. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and half-orc compassion
