Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears a black coat over a violet low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon her head. Her bronze crest is knotted and matted. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Doudra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

Description: This late middle aged man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times and is in decent physical shape. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His blue eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: Gale was born with his mother's beautiful face. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.
Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Dean abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He bought a crossbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Traubon is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He has achieved small success as a Mortician.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Herbalist. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: Oskar hails from a village terrorized by giants. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Oskar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is wearing a long, grey, dusty cloak. Her brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Born in the east to a Brewer, Adelaide learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She struck the Brewer job and began her own company from there.

His grey leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his tan boots flare out at the collars, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'7" when asserting himself. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Dimble alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
