History: He comes from a rich northern family. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Peter began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. A gifted student she started as a Herbalist, but she got bored and became a Laborer. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Laborer for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Laborer responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to reunite with his absent father

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She married young, but lost her spouse to gnolls. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kilia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and revenge

History: Valida was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Valida abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Barber and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and money/treasure
