History: Born in the north to a Blacksmith, Randal learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Randal abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Nil is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Diggory is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Diggory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Diggory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Description: An older woman who is wearing a long, grey cloak, she is not a threatening figure. Her hair is black and curly. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Valida isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. The war was a terrible time for her, and Valida does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Valida grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is an amazing painter.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Seeks redemption.

Description: 5'10" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair is red and curly. His amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ratanák is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Ratanák has worked very hard to control his curse. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He worked as a nervous Stableman and found it very stressful. He struck the Stableman job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and balancing his hectic life and new stableman responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She is greedy.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. She's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
