Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: Roland was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she prefers to wear black pants and tee shirts. She has moderate length white hair. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kali fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: The light-skinned woman stands 3'2" and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She has dyed her greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. Her blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She takes great joy in being the best Sculptor in town.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Apothecary and occasionally as a mercenary.
Motivation: Revenge; and balancing his hectic life and new apothecary responsibilities is difficult

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gomory grew up listening to her father's many stories. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She tends to her Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: Ront was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chenna grew up listening to her father's many stories. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Chenna took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up glaive and armor she uses now. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He takes great joy in being the best Sailor in town.
History: Barendd was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
