Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Beatrice will drive conversation. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
