History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Kali lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

He has silver hair. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and money/treasure

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears a blue coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His eyes are brown.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Eberdeb is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eberdeb grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eberdeb. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She was granted druidic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and revenge

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She was born into a rich family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and to reunite with her old friends

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Portia grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
