His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Paelias was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Nella was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nella decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her religion dominates her actions

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Personality: Pelaios is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is an amazing painter.

History: Pelaios was born the youngest of three triplets. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Pelaios never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
