History: Born in the east to a Priest, Hugolina learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Hugolina was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Laborer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Borgu was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He comes from a rich western family. A freak accident while working with his Unemployed father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
