Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Avelina embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Jacoba was raised in a hard working conservative environment. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Healer and was forced into it by her family; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
