Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Born to a Slave Trader, his father struggled to pay the bills. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Banker.

Description: A 6'4" southern woman, she wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her hair is short and black. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.
History: Mastema was born the youngest of three triplets. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: He wears a tan vest and prefers red and grey shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He has wavy white hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He was born in a small plains village. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he's attracted to the pc

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She uses divination through singing.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by her family

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Halander was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sellsword they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.
