History: The child of a Healer, who enjoyed hunting, Pennie was taken on many hunting expeditions. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Nalaed was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and an old rival family wants her found
