Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a blue collared shirt and red pants. He accessorizes with a pastel scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His red hair is long and unkept. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Qualen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: Justin was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Justin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has worked as a Stylist like his father before him.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stylist and was forced into it by his family; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears a robe, a symbol of magic around her neck, and a greataxe on her belt. Her head has been shaved. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Through the years after Sarai was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Sarai's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Sarai and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: This dark-skinned male is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His blonde hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are brown and catlike.
Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: He got into the Dyer business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Delebean grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Delebean. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Delebean was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Nordak is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the west were limited. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is greedy
