History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Umpen was a troubled youth. History: Vola lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Juliana never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
