History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Personality: Ratbag hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She has all her life been fascinated with dancing.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her first spouse was a Ploughman, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shepherd and was forced into it by her family; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Harbek was raised in a hard working conservative environment. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.
