History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. During his travels, Valafar and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Valafar discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Valafar fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student she started as a Shoemaker, but she got bored and became a Healer. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is her passion; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. Leaf is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Leaf was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: He wears a simple black robe with brown stripes complete with hood. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his sai, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length scarlet crest. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He takes great joy in being the best Body Guard in town.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gifted student he started as a Fortune-teller, but he got bored and became a Body Guard. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Broce was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A freak accident while working with his Stableman father left him crippled. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. He has dyed his greying blue hair a little too much giving a sharp blue color. His white eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he wants to get laid

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Geva was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Geva decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
