Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he loathes his own lifestyle

She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
