Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Orsik is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Orsik hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Orsik was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and revenge

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Xanaphia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Xanaphia and her spouse have recently divorced.

She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Gynnie wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born in the north. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Ruloth was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
