Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Rosalind lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Rosalind alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
