Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Animal Trainer who has hired her part-time. She has all her life been fascinated with poetry.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

Description: She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. She carries with her a set of shortbows, each one with a amber on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her ears are large.
Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Nedda enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nedda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This woman stands a little under 4'7" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She usually wears her green robe and has her scythe always slung over her shoulder. Her black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gold.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.
History: Makaria lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Makaria grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Makaria. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Description: This eastern woman tends to wear a large black jacket. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She keeps her long white hair kept up in a rat tail. Her brown eyes peer out from beneath her broad black hat.
Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Bendoo took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sword and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.
History: Baelitae was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She bought a shield and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: Virra hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Ildrex was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. During his travels, Ildrex and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ildrex discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ildrex fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: To be a Dyer again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
