Naivara's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Naivara was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Ilde hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Ilde abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and she has money and likes to spend it

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Gifted from a young age, Great studied abroad. His childhood dream was to be a Ruler, but he was a colossal failure. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Great never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
