History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. History: Born in the west to a Tailor, Zaffrab learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tailor for the past few years.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Darrak is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Sculptor job and began his own company from there.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings. His blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the east were limited. Being a Marshal kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats
