Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His crest is blue and very short. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He takes great joy in being the best Mortician in town.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Azzakh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Her black hair is smooth and relatively long. Her amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. A friendly and beautiful Gnome, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.
History: Shamil was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Shamil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and revenge

Description: 4'8" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She prefers to wear green clothing when she does not wear armor. She keeps her long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. Her gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Markosian is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Markosian was born with her mother's beautiful face. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She then took over the family business and is one of the better Merchant for hire.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and sabotage a competitor

Description: She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat, and carries spears. Her silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jacoba fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is greedy

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.
History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: This man is well dressed, constantly wearing a violet suit, blue shirt, and red tie. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Miles's homeland. Miles decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Blacksmith father left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
