History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: Everard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Everard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After months of barely getting by, Everard managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
