Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.
History: She got into the Tailor business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Marshal, but she got bored and became a Tailor. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is wearing a long, pastel, dusty cloak, and is pretty ugly. She has red fur. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines copper.
Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Cloak hails from a village terrorized by giants. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Wants a kiss; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing blue cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Crown-heir arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: He stands about 6'6" and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Glassblower. He has achieved small success as a Glassblower.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to end his boredom

History: Keyleth was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her childhood dream was to be a Miner, but she was a colossal failure. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

History: Zedaar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the north were limited. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thorin grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
