History: Roland was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Laborer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

History: Garl lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Barakas has worked very hard to control his curse. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
