History: Born in the west to a Bricklayer, Tod learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bricklayer for hire.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Arannis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Ella alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is content; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
