History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Shanairla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shanairla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Butcher like his mother before him.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Heather was born with her father's beautiful face. A gifted student she started as a Marshal, but she got bored and became a Hunter. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eva fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
