Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light green in addition to tight pants. He keeps his silver crest in a pixie cut. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Greethen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. After a long history of fighting, Harbek and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Barrister business.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gifted student she started as a Cartwright, but she got bored and became a Painter. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Painter for the past few years.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Koeth was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost.
