History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Altho was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Fisher arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is his passion

History: Mardred was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Fletcher, and she later adopted a second daughter.
