History: Born to a Mayor, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mumpena grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mumpena. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
