Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Dilettante born in the past three hundred years. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Richard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Richard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Oolah was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
