Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She married young, but lost her spouse to orcs. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: 6'4" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with green lining and desert motifs. She wears a colorful flower in her red crest. Her gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: She is a Deep Scion in disguise. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She uses divination through singing.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'5" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears skinny pants and wears a black and grey robe with the hood down. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture
