Mastema's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. The war was a terrible time for her, and Spring does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Architect work with an outfit from a few towns over. Architect work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
