History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aramil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paelias fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Halimath was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A freak accident while working with his Navigator father left him crippled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Georgina was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
