Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears yellow robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shortspear, but if one is not available he will default to his greataxe. His hair is cut close to his head. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Vrondiss alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Anastrianna abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Hatae was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Pyra was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Pyra's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Pyra and her spouse have recently divorced.
