History: Matilda was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Matilda was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She tends to her Sellsword job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hubert grew up listening to his father's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Nelkin is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.
